What Kind Of Mathematics Is Used In Accounting?
I am doing a report for my math midterm paper, and part of the requirement is to ask somebody in the field what type of math is used in accounting. I would like accountants to answer if possible, or anybody with any experience in this field. Please be as specific as possible. Also, please leave some kind of fake name and if possible, your crudentials.

Most math used is common addition, multiplication, subtraction and division. Algebra is important if you are trying to plan or analyze anything. I know they made me take calculus in college, but I haven’t used it in the 25 years I’ve been at it. Trigonometry, geometry – both a waste of time for accounting.
Im agree to Scott idea. but u must be creator and do practice to be proficient if u want solve questions or problems fastly.
