Like most CPA firms, we're trying to be paperless and also ensure we have a standardized set of best practices for reviewing our client QuickBooks data. Using the Client Data Review (CDR) feature allows us to do both! In addition to a built-in checklist of items to review, the CDR features time-saving tools that allows you to quickly review and correct client errors. Best of all, you can add notes to the review detailing your procedures or items to consider for next time, and these comments are hidden from your client. This ensures continuity and consistency, and helps ensure you've documented your professional due diligence. More than 95% of our clients use QuickBooks, so we're incorporating the CDR feature as a standard practice within the firm.

Improved Client Data Review is a must for all that do quarterly or annual reviews of clients data, the new feature to correct multiple list items as a group is a gem. Check it out, you will not be disappointed! End the frustration.

I have used QuickBooks exclusively for about 13 years now. I love how it paves the way for small business owners to get a feel for how business is done. I think it is imperitive for small business owners to learn how to use the software correctly as they can get themselves in deep doo doo rather quickly and also think they need other software that, in the end will find out QuickBooks fulfills that need. This said, QuickBooks is not to be underestimated. QuickBooks will take care of you & your business if you understand what it is capable of and how it works. Call your local QuickBooks Pro for guidence, it will definately be worth the effort & money!

As a trouble shooter and finding common errors in client's data files I find that one of the best enhancements I've seen with the QuickBooks products is the Client Data Review in the Accountant Edition. The best tools within the feature are being able to track negative inventory quantities, replacing regular generated checks with sales tax module checks and reclassing transactions enmasse, as well as writing off invoices in batches, so you don't waste time doing one at a time.

This already excellent Financial Software is now enhanced with more important and time saving features. One of the big ones is the ability to scan documentation that relates to customers, vendors, invoices. Enhanced reporting, electronic banking downloading credit card charges keeps this Intuit product ahead of the pack. Keep up the great work.
