How Many Different Things Do You Do In Accounting?

Like can you just do one category like, payroll or something?
Do you have to call people, give your client/company advice, or can you just record financial information into your record-sheet?
And if I’m not good at telling people what to do (like right in front of the person), should I go with Accounting Technology?

  1. Halos' War

It varies. If you get a job for the government you could do just one thing, like reconcile bank accounts, or payroll.
If you work for a corporation, you will likely have many tasks – reconcile accounts, prepare financial reports, research, contact other people.
If you like paying bills, A/P often are allowed to just to that.
For jobs that concentrate on one task, your upside will be limited.
