I am starting a small bookkeeping business and want to know should I charge a upfront fee for service. It will come with written/signed invoice of satisfaction or money back guaranteed.
*Bookkeeping services will be monthly, meaning they pay once a month for services.
The reason why I want to do this is because I don’t want to deal with the hassles of “running people down” to pay for services.

I am starting up a website business from home and money will be largely generated via advertising and also through customers paying to place classified ads.
What method should I adopt for bookkeeping i.e. a spreadsheet or some sort of software? What kind of information would I need to record for this type of business specifically?

I have the opportunity to do some easy bookkeeping work on the side from home. Is there a guide or list of recommended prices for this kind of work. I don’t want to overcharge but what to get paid a fair price for the work.

I did bookkeeping going through college at a supermarket for an hourly rate I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole now, but what do people charge outside of hourly retail? A personal trainer wants me to help streamline her bookkeeping, unsure yet if it’s a one time or continuous thing. Any ideas would be appreciated.
