Question by William K: Two different versions of Quickbooks on the same computer?
Can you have two differnet versions on QuickBooks on the same computer? Wife does volunteer work for two different non-profit organizations. One uses QuickBooks Pro 2008 the other uses QuickBooks 2009 Accounting. She would like to do some of the work at home.

Yes. Store the data files in two different folders. The only thing to be careful of is to make sure the 2008 file doesn’t get opened to the 2009 program – this will upgrade 2008 and she won’t be able to downgrade. As long as the data files are in two different folders it shouldn’t be a problem.

I think they may have gotten the wrong idea because they saw me reading the Bible in the chapel. Is it wrong to work for a church and not believe in God? — J.H., Toronto
