My boss wants me to create a contact list from our quickbooks! I know you can do that under reports, but it shows the clients more then once. Is there a way to shut that off? We are just looking to access a list that shows the client/company once with contact info.
Making an excel spreadsheet is way too time consuming, so I am not going that route.
Your answers will be greatly appreciated.

I previously had a report that would total all the the checks written in a given timeframe in QuickBooks, but i can’t remember how i edited the reports to get there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am starting a microenterprise and I do not have employees so I don’t have to do any payroll. I want to buy software for accounting and I don’t know which one would work best. I will be selling mostly online.

Yeah, I want to know how can I see the total sells on QuickBooks 2004, the total sells of the past week, past month or past year. I don’t really care if I see each item’s total profit, I want to see the total amount of money I made.

I work at a Party rental company. We currently use Quickbooks to keep track of almost everything we do. However, in order to figure out if we have an item on a specific day, we need someone to perform a few searches in our system and someone else to go to the warehouse to check our quantities. Can quickbooks keep track of our stock for current and future rentals, and if not, does anyone know of an affordable and effective program that does?

What type of items on your credit report will affect getting any job offers. What if I have an account sent to collections but is now paid off will the collection still affect me receiving any offers. Also, I have 3 years of Accounting experience.

Like can you just do one category like, payroll or something?
Do you have to call people, give your client/company advice, or can you just record financial information into your record-sheet?
And if I’m not good at telling people what to do (like right in front of the person), should I go with Accounting Technology?
